Stay At The Farmers Arms

This traditional 16th century inn has been refurbished to a very high standard. The Farmers Arms offers well appointed, exquisite rooms, some large and some huge, with antique furniture and wooden floors - all en-suite with roll top baths.

There are 5 individually designed rooms, some with sitting areas, one even with its own courtyard. The amazing views over the Somerset levels are well worth waking up to.

The Rooms

Quantock Room

Creams and greens! A sophisticated continental feel to this room. Pale green French Bergere bed, crackle painted and walnut furniture, a chaise longue and wooden floors.

Blackdown Room

A rich and warm feel to this enormous room. It has a beautiful Victorian mahogany bedstead and furniture to match. Deep red walls and rich red and gold cushions, armchairs and curtains.

Mendip Room

Step into a large sloped ceilinged room with a comfortable sofa and then down a step to two single Victorian iron bedsteads. The Mendip Suite can be arranged as a Twin or Super Kingsize.

Polden Room

A huge antique wrought iron bed with a daybed to match, scattered with cushions in pale lilac and lemon. It has dark wooded antique furniture and gleaming wooden floors.

Brendon Room

All country and cosy! A rustic country feel to this room. Step into a cosy little sitting room with exposed stone walls and a loft style snug scattered with cushions in blue and red floral and gingham.
